Tips and Frequently Asked Questions

Upload new videos to MyRaganTV:

1. Click on the Browse button, which will provide you a view of the different local files and directories on your computer. When you find the video file that you want to upload, choose it by either double clicking on the file name or by single clicking to highlight it and then clicking the Open button to choose that file. You are now done with Step one. (NOTE: at the present time we support the following file formats: WMV, MPEG, MP4, MOV/Quicktime, AVI (NON-DiVX)).
2. Immediately to the right of the Title bar, you should see a box that has 'Video Title' written in it. This is a placeholder. Delete the name and type a name that you feel is descriptive and meaningful to viewers. Remember, a good, clear title can increase viewer-ship five fold. You are now done with Step two.
3. Immediately to the right of the Description bar, you should see a box that has 'Video Description' written in it. This is a placeholder. Delete the name and type a description that you feel enables viewers to really appreciate what your clip is about and who it is targeted at. Be creative, and remember, as above, a good, clear and meaningful description can increase viewer-ship dramatically. You are now done with Step three.
4. Click Upload, and MyRaganTV's upload progress bar will show you how close your video is to being done uploading. (Note: it may take a few minutes for the video to be ready for viewing.)
