I totally agree with that whole, "I'd like to thank [ venue here]..." To me it's a given. If you didn't like the venue you wouldn't have held the event there. Besides, if you REALLY want to thank them them just pay the bill (which is 'thanks' enough).

Don't waste my time with 'fillers.' I need content.
